Jack at 15 days old

Here are a few images of Jack at 15 days old. He still has all his baby hair. I especially like the little wave on the top. His shirt says" I'm the Best". I think he is too. He's growing up fast. I'm glad I captured the images of Jack that I did. He is my favorite model now. Jack will be pretty comfortable in front of a camera when he grows up. His dad just got an iPhone and has sent me some real nice shots. I'll share some of those when I catch up posting all of his older pics I took.

Jacks feet @ 15 days old

It just so amazing to see how tiny a newborn baby is. Even more amazing when you look at the baby's little feet and hands! Here are Jack's feet at 15 days old. The most precious little toes! I love him so much. I always touch Jack's feet when I see him. I can't wait to play "this little piggy went to the market" with him when he's a little older. His little hands are so cute too. We as a family are very blessed to have such a perfect baby to call our own!

In Good Hands

Here you can see Jack's bellybutton is still healing. Again he is 5 days old in this picture. Jack is in good hands. His father Beau is so good with him. Always there to help Jack's mother Chelsea with feeding, changing and other misc. duties. Both parents are totally into their new son Jack. I think it's so important that both parents be there to raise their child. I can see a very strong bond developing between Jack and his parents. As a result of this bond Jack is trusting and happy almost all of the time. I really think this picture shows an amazing connection between father and son.

My 1st Grandson

My son Beau took this shot of me holding Jack for the 1st time. He's 5 days old here. He was too tiny for me to hold him when he was born. I'm a very proud man in this picture. So proud to hold my Grandson Jack. It had been over 20 years since I held a baby like this. These are memories I will never forget. Just like when I held my own children for the 1st time. I didn't hold him long. It's not the easiest thing for a man to do. But an opportunity that shouldn't be passed up. I really love my Grandson! Now Jack is my newest pride and joy.

Jack 5 days old

Newborns are so tiny. So far most of the pictures I have taken of Jack he has his eyes closed. He sure sleeps a lot! I'm sure that is a good thing for both the parents and for Jack. He is very healthy and strong.....and soooooo precious!

Another thing is that I never used a flash on him. Every picture I have taken of Jack is with natural light. I just didn't want to hurt his tiny little developing eyes.

Jack and Chelsea

A special and a new moment. Chelsea's 1st baby! What an amazing thing it must be to see and hold your child after carrying it inside for 9 months. Jack seemed to really like feeling the warmth of Chelsea's body. Jack also must hear her heart beat as well. Oh and it didn't take long at all for a hungry Jack to know where to feed. Words really can't describe how a new mother must feel. Chelsea is a wonderful person and I'm more than sure she will be a great mom to Jack.

Jack Alan Berenger is born!

One of my favorite pictures I have. I took this on 4-18-09, the day Jack was born. Funny to see my son Beau learning how to hold a newborn. Jack has the most special expression on his face! What a special moment for all of us in the family!
